Chapter #9- "Screwed Up"

Strife Household

"Well, I guess I can't say I expected this. No wonder you nobody has feelings for Axel", explained Leon as he leaned on the wall of the rather large living room.

The older brunette then walked over to the couple on the sofa. He then put his crossed arms on the back and the middle of the sofa.

"So now tell me, how long have you two been together?", asked Leon in a curious tone.

"Well, I guess you can say recently", answered Riku.

"Do you want me to keep it a secret? Because I know how Cloud is when it comes to Sora's and Roxas' marriages", Leon asked out to the sliver-haired boy as he stood up.

"No thank you Mrs. Strife, were planning to to tell Cloud today anyways", Riku responded.

"Well, i'll be there for support if you need it. I personally dislike that Kairi, she sounds like a total brat and dresses like one too. I don't want any of my money going to her", confessed the older brunette.

Sora and Riku then stood up themselves, locking their hand together before approaching the older brunette. Sora being quiet the whole time.

"So that's why your going against your own husband?!", asked Riku in a confused tone.

"Of course, my sons should have the right to marry who they desire. Like I did when I married Cloud, it was my choice and not my parent's. So don't worry Sora, I got your back. Now let me change, i'm not the type to wear suits", confessed Leon as he went up the stairs.

"Why so quiet my princess?', Riku asked his lover in a concerned tone.

"I'm just wondering what'll happen when we tell Cloud about this. I don't want to cause trouble.............", was all the brunette was able to say before tears rolled down his face.

"Oh Sora, you shouldn't think that way...........", Riku commented as he hugged the crying boy.

After a while, the smaller brunette finally wiped the last of his tears. The couple then heard a small "click" coming from the front door. It was the man of the house, Cloud Strife, wearing a black suit and carrying a suitcase.

"Hello Sora. Where's your mother?", asked the blond as he put his suitcase by the closet door.

"Mom's upstairs", confirmed Sora.

Just as the blond was going to say something, Leon had started coming down the stairs and in his usual outfit. (His outfit from KH2) When the older brunette reached the bottom of the staircase, he ran over to Cloud and kissed him.

"Hi hun! How was your trip?!", Leon asked in a happy tone, not letting go of the blonde's neck.

"Um.........Leon, two things. One, my trip was boring and i'm hungry. And two, did Yuffie give you coffee at work again?", Cloud asked his lover in a curious tone.

"Well, i'll get started on dinner and maybe............", responded the older brunette as let go of Cloud and walked into the kitchen.

"I'll go help mom in the kitchen. You coming Riku?", asked Sora in a dully tone.

"Sure. Excuse me Mr. Strife", the silver-haired boy said before following the younger brunette into the kitchen.

About an Hour Later

The Strifes' and Riku were seated at the table for twenty in the rather large dinning room. Minutes later of silence was broken when the blond decided to speak.

"What's bothering you Sora?", asked Cloud.

Sora stood up with his hands into fists and with his eyes' hidden with his hair. He then slammed his hands onto the table, surprising everyone.

"YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH ME?! I just hate the fact that i'm suppose to marry that brat, Kairi! I don't like her and you still want her for me?! Look Cloud, I love Riku and you can't change that!", confessed Sora angrily.

Cloud stood up as well, looking slightly annoyed.

"Sora Strife! That is no way to talk about your future wife like that! You will marry and respect her!", Cloud scolded.

When the blond said that, Riku and Leon stood up as well. Riku next to Sora and Leon next to Cloud.

"Cloud, your going too far with this stupid contract! Stop it please and just let them be together!", Leon said in a sad and soft tone.

The blond turned to the older brunette and then put his hand on his face.

"Leon...........i'm sorry, but I can't let Sora be with someone else. As much as you hate her, I can't", Cloud explained in a sad tone as tears ran down the older brunette's face.

Leon slapped Cloud's hand away and glared at him with a hurt expression across his face.

"Your not the same man that I married! You've become obsessed with money and power! And I can't take it anymore! I'm sorry Cloud, but i'm leaving with the kids. Sora! Serenity! Pack only what you need", announced Leon as he walked hand-in-hand with Serenity.

Sora and Riku weren't too far behind and followed.

"I'll start the car, okay?", the silver-haired boy said to his lover as he pulled him by the arm gently.

The brown-haired boy nodded his head "yes" before giving Riku a quick kiss and going up the stairs. The blond had entered the living room just in time to see the kiss. Riku glanced at Cloud with a frown across his face before walking over to the front door.

A couple of minutes later brought Leon, Serenity, and Sora downstairs with a suitcase each. The older brunette set aside his suitcase and approached the blond.

"Contact me when you've stopped your madness. I love you", confessed Leon in a sad and hurt tone as he kissed Cloud.

Minutes Later

The group was in Riku's BMW M1, and were all heading to his house. Sora, in the passenger's seat and Leon and Serenity in the back seats, stayed quiet until Sora decided to speak.

"Riku, i'm sorry I screwed everything up", the younger brunette said in depressed tone.

"Don't be sorry Sora, you did something brave for the both of us and i'm glad to be your lover", the silver-haired boy said in a sweet tone that made Sora blush pink.

Back at the Strife household, Cloud was in the same spot, but on his knees with his blood rolling down his fingers from punching the floor so hard. His tears rolling down his cheeks. A couple of minutes later and the blond arose from the floor, with his bloody right hand held with his left clean one.

"I bet Sora blames himself for all this. I love you too Leon and i'll be sure to fix this", Cloud confessed to himself in a confident tone.
